CAL & CEVO Victories

After a week of preparation Hellfire-Empire had a packed Monday night with two big matches against Team Incorporated and Team Warchild. The first match would take place against Team Incorporated (2-0) on mp_citystreets. This was a very important match for the team being that both teams were 2-0 and needed the win to not only stay undefeated but also get the RPI’s for Caleague up. Here’s what Ryan “Runner” Lane had to say about Team Incorporated going into the second half.

Ryan “Runner” Lane: After the first half I have to admit I was a bit concerned, normally on defense we lock it down but against Team Incorporated they were able to get 6 rounds on us to make it even 6-6 at the break. They definitely caught me and I’m sure the rest of the guys off guard with there ability to penetrate the A bomb site.

Luckily the amazing play by Michael “Spider” Tucker and Sean “Anubis” Douglas sparked a fire in the rest of the guys and got the ball rolling on offence.

Ryan “Runner” Lane: Once we started to get into gear with are nades and spam shots I knew [inc] was not going to be able to stop us on offence. They weren’t playing very smart leaving themselves in the open at the A bomb and me and Spider were having a field day on them. I completely credit this win to Spider and Anubis for stepping it up and getting it done. Anubis did a fantastic job holding the B and Mid flank while we were going A. Pretty much as Sean would say it “He owned faced” everyone pushing flank.

Match 2

After an emotional victory against Team Incorporated HFE.CoD4 was energized to go up against a highly touted Team Warchild. Team Warchild has been around almost as long as Hellfire-Empire but they have stayed more in the Battlefield Series. That doesn’t change the fact that they have always been a strong team in whatever game they compete in. HFE.CoD4 was looking at this match as a statement to the community for doubting there abilities in the recent weeks and they came through. The first half was a little different than the match before. HFE started on the offense side so they had to get at least 4 rounds to be in contention for the win. It was back and forth action all half as the team was trying to get as many rounds as possible. The half time score ended up 5-7 in favor of Team Warchild. The second half however was one of the intense matches any of the 5 starters have ever been in. After going down 11-6 the team was in desperate mode needing to get some rounds to stop the momentum of Team Warchild. And they did turn on the switch getting 6 rounds in a row and defeating the Cal-Main Team Warchild. Here’s what Joe “Amen3:16” Duffel had to say about the match:

Joe “Amen3:316” Duffel: Warchild absolutely had us on the ropes at 11-7. We called a last minute strat that really seem they had no answer for. Even with that it took several 1-3 or 1-4 clutches. That may be one of the top comebacks in open this season I’ve seen considering how prepared Warchild seem to be.

CAL Week 2 Win!

TGL Round 3 Win!!!

CAL Week 1

In a last second decision Hellfire-Empire.CoD4 decided to take its make-up match Tuesday night against Those Fools. Lucky enough the team stratted MP_Crossfire vigorously for an entire week before Team )(plode disbanded itself and gave *HFE* the forfeit win. Although the first half was a little shaky at times the team put a couple rounds together to even the score 6-6 at the break. Then Those Fools had something coming when Sean “Anubis” Douglas starting getting warmed up. Here’s what Sean had to say:

Sean “Anubis” Douglas: “I felt like everything the opposing team was showing, was not like the other teams. Not that it was better, just different in the fact that I did not get any open shots or firefights but one with the sniper rifle. Towards the end I switched to an Ak-47 and felt like I pulled a little more of my own weight. Thank goodness my team had it together and owning faces to carry me. GG Those Fools.”

All in all the entire match went well and HFE.Cod4 got their first Cal-Open match win. Stay in touch with the site for new updates, news articles and the arrival of Chris “Spnkz” Harper who is making his way back to *HFE*.

CAL Week 1

WELCOME TO Hellfire Empire

Hellfire-Empire has a rich tradition of computer gaming and is comprised of multiple gaming nations. We have an extremely successful history going back to the days of Tribes 1 to present day Call of Duty 4. Along the way we’ve encountered great games like Battlefield 1942, Medal of Honor, Tribes Vengeance, City of Heroes and many more. Not to mention our 300+ member WoW Guild.

As Call of Duty 4 goes we have tremendous success in the last few months of the game. Our team went 7-1 in the Cevo Fight to the Finish tournament and is currently 2-1 in Caleague Preseason. We are hopefully getting our bid into Cal Main division within the next couple of weeks. Our next match is scheduled for Sunday January 27th against a strong Celebrities from CPL team. The Hellfire-Empire CoD4 roster is as follows:
USA Michael “Spider” Tucker
